It is the practice of the retiring chairman of the Hutt Valley Electric Power Board to present the board with a picture of hitnself, to be hung in the board room. At yesterday's meeting of the board last yearns chairman (Mr. A. Walker) presented the board with a handsomelyrframed portrait of himself, remarking that it was the first photograph he had had taken, except in groups, for, forty years. On behalf of the board he was thanked by. the present chairman (Mr. S. Blackley).
