THE LONDON SALE
The Bank of New South Wales is in receipt' of > tli'e following cable message from its London office, dated 20th July;—. "Wool sales closed.- Merino 7% per cent., fine crossbred 13 per .cent., medium coarse 20 per cent., slipe 15 to 20 per cent, above last sales' close." ■' j Messrs. Murray, Roberts, and Co., Ltd., are in receipt of wool market quotations from their London agents, giving closing rates for July, the May-June rates in parentheses,. as follows:—New Zealand merino, 60/64's, r yielding 48 per cent., B%d i (7%d); half bred, 58's, yielding 60 per cent., B%a (7%d);. superfine crossbred, 50's, yielding 65 per cent., 7%d (6d); fine crossbred, 48/50's, mixed pre. and card., yielding .70 per cent., 6%d (sd); fine crossbreed, 46/48's, mixed pre. and card., | yielding 72 per cent.;'s%d (4%d); medium crossbred, 44/46's, prep., yielding 74 per cent., sAd (4%d);" medium '' crossbred, 44/46's, card., yielding 72 per cent., 5%d (4d); coarse crossbred, 40/44's, yielding 73 per cent., 5d (4d).
