Several* reliable aha up-to-date radio call books are now, obtainable, but one or.the most comprehensive that has yet appeared has just been published by Simpson, and Williams, Ltcl., of Christ C« Ur t l h- ithßla the offioial endorsement of the New Zealand Association of' Eadxo Transmitters, and contains a list of some four thousand, broadcasting-short-wave, and. amateur stationo. The stiff front cover is fitted on the inside with a convenient revolving time indicator. This, however, is open to criticismas it does not recognise the division, of the world into time zones, and the attempt to convert G.M.T. thus results in finding times that are not official. In addition to lists of New Zealand Australian, Ameripan, and other stations, tho forty quarto pages also contain a frequency conversion chart, rro index to broadcasting- stations by wavelength and frequency, a summary of. mternatiojiaZ prefixes,, .and helpful mathematical and technical-dataV
