FLOCK HOUSE SCHEME
ENTHUSIASTIC REPORT

"The Flock flonse scheme appears to be- a striking success," said Mr. O. L. Ferens, secretary of tho Dunediu Eeturned Soldiers' Association, who paid a visit to the institution recently. Mr. Ferens was most enthusiastic about the work being earned out, and said a nmqne opportunity was being piovided tor the boys m residence there to learn all branches of farming. Tho boys receive a thorough .grounding ln a n branches- of farming, and Mr. Ferens was greatly impressed with the methods employed.
, ' The-boys display a keen interest in their work, ho said, and they all look surprisingly, fit,and welL Every care is,1 taken of the lads, who in the house are .under the charge of a capable matron who saw service during- the war. The boys take a turn in. the laundry, in tho '.kitchen, and in keeping the house clean.
• "They are taught to work," said Mr. I'erens, "and it is doing them a world of good. _No difficulty is experienced in'placing boys from Flock' House, who are much in demand. Farmers who have employed trainees speak highly of them."
