iTho London July series of wool sales Save closed. The ofTcung today was 1b,795 bales, including 4510 bales New Zealand. About 3903 balca -weie sold, and the sale was quieter than others of the •erica.
."Withdrawals ycre frequent. The total cati^ogued was 115,070 biles, Including 59,500 Austiahan, 33,021 New JfSfcaland. Sales to the Home trade were ■JBQiSOO, and -to the ■ Continent 38,500. Wool held over amounts to 97,500 bales, <b£ 'whiqh 90,000 were not offered.
•Merinos, greasy, closed at 10 per cent, fcbove June closing rates, and bcomeds 10 to 15 per cent, higher, fine ciossbreds xrere 10 per cent, and medium and coarse 15 to 20 per cent, dearei. Slipes weie 15 3per cent, up on June rates The next juries will open on 20th beptember nest.
