NOT GOING TO SYDNEY
During the past, few weeks Croupier's tasks have been confined to steady pacing, sfates the'"Star." The chestnut', looks the picture ;of 'healths'- He has built up very noticeably since the. autumn, and gives every indication that he is likely to be better than ever when he begins racing again. Though a shade big in condition, a few fast gallops is all that he would need to bring him back to his best racing trim.
It nas reported recently that K. Voitre intended to visit Australia, with a view to riding at some of the principal spring meetings, but it is now announced that he has changed his plans and will remain at home. Voitre is at the head of the winning jockeys' list this season, so he is assured of good riding in tho Dominion in the spring.
