PROPOSAL FOR BIG STRIKE

BRUSSELS, 12th July. Between 150 and 206 arrests have been made at Charleroi, following the Communist rioting, which was a sequel to a coal-miners' strike. The General Socialist Council to-day will consider a proposal to declare a general strike throughout the country.
