OBITUARY
MR. A. G. RALSTON, K.C.
United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. (Received 13th July, 12.30 p.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. The death has occurred of Mr. Ales- ] ander Gerald Ralston, K.C., formerly acting Judge of the New South Wales Supreme Court, In his 72nd year. The late Mr. Ralston was born .in 1860, and was admitted to the Sydney Bar va. 1884. He was appointed to act as a puisne Judge for New South Wales for a period of six months in 1919, and again in 1922-25. The second appointment was rendered necessary owing to Mr. Justice Gordon's departure for a tour of the Continent. On former occasions he assisted the Judge in Divorce (Mr. Justice Owen), but he has also had considerable experience at Common Law. He was the senior member of the New South Wales Bar, and had been a member of the Bar Council of New South Wales.
