BILLIARDS AND SNOOKER.
Interclub billiards and -snooker matches are attracting a good deal of interest locally. The National Club has boon meeting with .a good deal of success, and its representatives have registered some.fine individual performances, although several opponents have scored notable successes. In one billiards, match Wakem (Federal) defeated Seeats (National), 500-434, and Hegan (National) beat Wakem (Federal) at snooker, 61-12. The National Club won a snooker contest against Working Men's Club by 11 games to 5, but at billiards Working Men's Club won eight games and lost five. Shanks (W.M.C.) defeated Murphy (National), aOO-194. In a match with YMCA National won eight out of fourteen games at billiards, and ten out of fourteen at snooker.
