CHILD'S SAD PLIGHT
COMPANION OF A CORPSE

KOTORUA, This Day. Death in a lonely house on the shores of Lake Koto Ehu overtook Muriel Ida Angelica married woman, some time between 8.30 a.m. on Saturday and 5.30 p.m. on Wednesday evening.--■ Her little daughter, 2i .years old, w, s afound asleep beside her when her husl,and made the trag le discovery on Wednesday evening. The child was well, but evidenHy had been .crying and had not been.able to obtain food. ■.
The child was too young to be able to tell the sad-tale of the lonely death which had overtaken tho ■ unfortunate mother When discovered hv her lmsband Mrs. Angell was lying upon tho bed fully dressed. The body disclOsed" nc.signs of violence. Tl lo husband had left home at 8.30 on Saturday morning and did.not return till after dark on Wednesdav. .
The house is situated in a very lonelv spot on tho shores of the lake, tiie nearest neighbour being three miles away which probably accounts, for the death remaining undiscovered. The police are investigating the circumstances.
