AGAINST MUSSOLINI
RINGLEADER TO BE SHOT
SOME, 16th June.
The trial of nine aati-Faseists in connection with-, alleged plots against Signor Mussolini concluded with the passing of the death sentence on Bovone, the chief accused, who admitted making a bomb which caused the death of a police officer and injury to several persons;; He said that he merely intended to cause alarm, not; to harm anyone. His woman associate, Margherita Blaha, an Austrian dancing girl, • with long golden curls, who wept throughout the trial, was sentenced w_ith five other accused to thirty years' imprisonment. Two accused were sentenced toy ten years' imprisonment. ■ ' Bovone will be shot through the back.
