ESPERANTO CLUB.
_ The weekly meeting of the Wellington Esperanto Club was held on Tuesday evening in the Y.M.G:A. .Mr. E. .C. Jack presided.. The beginners' class i under Miss Smythson made excellent. progress. -After class work, Mr. L. E. :Dust gave a. short address ■on "Sculpturing in Sand." Mr. W. H. King spoke on tHe postal and telegraphic section of the Esperanto movement. He stated that for ten years past this section had produced a magazine printed entirely in Esperanto. Miss C. Smythson spoke on "Electricity as a Nerve-vitaliser." News v/as received from Los Angeles thatthe Esperantists of that city were expecting many to .the Olympic Games, and; were preparing numerous attractions for them.- . The president of the local cliib; Mr. • Bertram Potts, will be returning to New Zealand in a few weeks' time." : ■ --•.■•-
