CONFECTIONER'S FAILURE

The failure of Edwin Ransom Myers to make a success of a. confectionery shop and soda fountain ( in Lambton quay resulted in a meeting of his creditors to-day in the office of the' Official Assignee, Mr. S. Tansley. Liabilities, all to unsecured creditors, were returned at £1414, and til assets were estimated to be worth £35. According to the bankrupt's- statement, the shop was opened with about £600 worth of stock, obtained chiefly from three firms. In addition, he had put in £225 of his own in furnishings.
