King George has approved of the officer appointed to succeed Sir Harold Kittermaster in the administration ■of the British Somaliland Protectorate being designated Commissioner and Commander-in-Chief of , the Protectorate. /The King haa also approved the appointment to thia post of Major A. S. Lawrence, Secretary to the Government of British Soinalilancl, who will assume the Commissionership on 18th June. <•',■.
