MEMBER
(Received 16th June, 8 a.m.)
SYDNEY, 15th June.
The'1 only noteworthy incident in connection with the New South Wales elections was the announcement of tho final figures for the Goulburn seat, where Mr. Tully, former Minister "of Lands in the Lang Government, has been defeated by Mr. P. Loughlin by 1000 votes. •
It is a case of history repeating itself. Mr. Loughlin was Minister of Lands in 1925 in tho first Lang Government which was wrecked by party defections, including Mr. Loughlin, who has now been returned as a United .Australian candidate. •
