Miss H. Taylor is the winner of the Wheeler Gup, a knock-out on handicap, defeating Mrs. Hanson in the final, 4 and 3.
A billiards and snooker match was played at the Paramount saloon between Mr. A. Duncan's team, representing Paramount and De Luxe saloons, and the V.M.C.A. on Tuesday last. A very enjoyable .evening . -was spent, the. result of twenty games' a-side being:—BilliardsY.M.C.A-.-; 1750; Paramount, 1655.
