TE AUTE RETAIN TROPHY

(By Telegraph.) (Special to "Thp Evening Post.") PALMERSTON N., 15th Jupe. Topical college football wab seen in the meeting of fifteens fvom Te Ante College and the Palmereton Noith Boys' High School at the Showgrounds this afternoon for the coveted Moascar Cup. Te <kute successfully defended their title, winning by a margin of ten points, the game ending 13-3 in their favour.

There was a tricky wind, and back play was somewhat difficult. Nevertheless the winners gave a good exhibition, and their victory was well deserved. The school forwaids showed up to advantage in the se> i. ° bac. ]cs l°st many opportunities, the gieat majority of the movements ending lamely. Te Aute enjoyed the advantage of superior weight, and this had <i distinct effect m the score after halftime, when they had the advantage of the wind, le Aute secured the ball from piactically all the line-out*,, but the sciummaging was about equal.
