Mrs. W. Weston, Ne\v Plymouth, who has been spending a few days in Wolington, rftturned home this morning. Mr. and Mrs. C. F. Murray, "Whara.lut," Marlborougb, returned home yesterday, after a brief visit to Wellington. i Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Johnstohe, Duncdin, who have been visiting Wellington, returned South - last evening. Miss Mollio Day, Wellington, is the guest of Mrs. Walshe, South Dunedin. Mrs. David Jones, Bryndwyr, Christchurch,- will arrive in Wellington next Thursday to see her husband .off to Can-, ada to attend the Ottawa Conforence. She Will then" go to Havelock North to Visit her daughter, Miss j Hilda Jones, and later will visit Auckland. She expects to be absent from Christchureh for about six weeks. : Mrs. P. A. Koddejl has returned to Christchurch after a visit to the North Island. . •:■• '. ... . Mrs. P. Hanna has returned to Wellington after a visit to Auckland. .'MM. F. Brittain, Avonside,. Christchurch, arrived, "in Wellington this morning, en ronte to Hawkes Bay, where she will be the guest of her sister.. - ■ Dr. and Mrs. J. W.! Crawshaw and Miss M. Ctawshaw, Christchureh, left Wellington this week by tho Eangitane for England. : r Miss Hazel Fountain, who spent some years in mission! work in India, and is now organising secretary, for the Zenana Bible and Medical Mission, is staying at the Girls' Friendly Society Hostel, "Vivian street. A quiet wedding took place recently in. Wellington when Margery, younger daughter of Mr. T. E. Herd, late of Wellington, and now of England, waa married to Captain B. F. Gruar, Skinner's Horse, Lucknow, India. Mrs. and Miss Guy Williams, Masterton, are staying at the Midland Hotel. • Mrs. G. O'Halloran, Auckland, is among the g'nests at the Hotel St. George. Miss Metzger (Bluff), and Miss Hutehinson (Taihapo) are among the guests at the Boyal Oak Hotel. ••• Among the g"u.ests at the Empire Hotel arft iMrs. N. Mawson (Christchurch), and Mrs. M.
