Captain A. Reed, of the Kairanga, has taken command of the Karetu at Auckland, relieving Captain K. L. Davies for further orders.

Captain'W. Johnson, of the tug Terawhiti, has gone on holiday leave in the South Island. Mr. P. E. Ryan Is acting-master of the Terawhiti. Captain Hargraves recently rejoined the tug Natone.

Mr. N. M. Bonnetti is now chief officer of the Poolta, relieving Mr. C. H. English for orders.

Mr. W. A. Dohrn is relieving Mr. A. V. Knight as second officer of the Koranui at Sydney this week.

MONOWAI REPORTS.

The Monowai, en route from San Francisco, has reported by -wireless jthat she expects to arrive at Wellington at 6 a.m. on Monday.

OTOKIA REPORTS.

En route from San Pedro, the tanker Otokia has reported by wireless that she has been delayed by bad weather, and cannot arrive at Wellington before Monday morning.

PAKEHA SAILS TO-MORROW.

The steamer Pakeha, which has been undergoing survey at Wellington, will sail to-morrow afternoon for London, via Cape Horn. PORT WELLINGTON AT LONDON. The Port Wellington, which left Lyttelton on 15th April, arrived at London yesterday.

RADIO FROM OPAWA.

The Opawa, which is en route from London in ballast to load in the Dominion, has reported by wireless that she expects to arrive at Auckland on Saturday afternoon. VESSELS RECOMMISSIONING. The Wairuna, which has been laid up at Auckland, will shortly go into commission, and ■will Bail on 13th June for Fiji to load for Vancouver. The Klwitea, which has been laid up at Wellington in the stream,'will sail on Saturday for Westport.
