CHEISTCHXiBCH, This Day. A recommendation, was mad.c to the committee of the Canterbury Jockey Club by the annual .meeting ye.sterday that a trial should, be .given to a fiveshilling totalisator, and one will probably be introduced at the Grand National Meeting.
