LEAGUE FOOTBALL
A Rugby League football match was played at Hutt Part on Saturday between Petone and City, and it resulted in an easy win for the suburban team. The Petone backs set the pace, and their bright movements were the outstanding feature of the match. Petone won by 36 points to 6. Mr. J. Goodall was the referee.
