Tlie. results of competitions played by the Titahi Golf Club during the week-end were as follows:— In the first medal round the winner was C. S. Brice' (24), who turned in the good net score of 70. The nest best were Dunbar Sloane (10) and D. G. Munro (24), who both returned to something like their best form with 74 net. Other scores were: H. Boon (10) and R. G. Mexted (24), 75; Langbein (8), Stone (16), and Can- (11), 76; M. R. Moore (12), Dr. Aitken (12), and A. C. Blow (8), 77. In the second medal round R. Mexted (24), 70, was the winner. Other scores were:—P. J. Murphy (14) and C. Stone (16), 71; C. S. Brice (24) and M. R. Moore (12), 72; J. Tunnington (22), 73; D. Crombie (12), 74; H. Boon (8), Dr. Aitken (12), A. C. Blow (8), and F. Carr (11), 75._ The winner of the bogey match was J. Lulham (24), 1 up—a good performance by a, junior member. C. Stone (16) was next, 2 down. Others were: C. Langbein (8) and C. H. Gyles (24), 3 down. Nest Saturday will see the commencement of the club's first important competition, when the first medal round will be played of the two rounds to be played for the Captain's Trophy (handicap) and Mr. A. A. Moore's trophy (scratch), the aggregate score to count. Next week-end the entries for the foursomes competition to be played during the nest few weeks will close. In this competition a senior player will partner a junior player.
