SUICIDE BY HANGING

(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WAIPUKURAU, This Day. An inquest was held at Waipawa concerning the death of Alexander Edward Stevens, (68)^ builder, an old resident, found hanging from the rafter of" a .private motor, garage yesterday. The verdict was suicide while suffering acute depression. A constable had occasion to draw at; tention to the mistaken idea that the | body should not have been touched till the Police arrived. Such a delay, he said, was likely to prove serious in cases of this kind.
