'' The ".Daily Telegraph" says:'"Jxew Zealand would not 'be able to "borrow on such favourable -terms unless her credit,had always stood •high, and her recent 'determined;'reduction-<a£ /expenditure and -evidence of sound rnrethods was still pursued. -"Th^-resistance made; to appeals t,o heir .currency has impressed British' bankers,--and aa a.developingifcountry/New Zealand has to borrow steadily.' "Prudently man'aged,'this is a sign of vitality."
