Mrs. and Miss Finlay, Burraaoo, New South Wales, are among the guests at the Miaiana. Hotel. Mrs. Edith Naomi Jackson, a very old resident of Wellington, diea yesterr day after a short illness. Born at Wellington' almost 80 years ago, the late Mrs. Jackson saw the early development of Wellington. The deceasea was a sister of the veteran trainer, Mr. E. J ; Mason, of Eiccarton. Her husband; died some years ago. The late Mrs. Jackson enjoyed good health until a few months ago. One son, Arthur, enlisted with the Australian Forces, ana subsequently aiea in Lonaon auring the war. Another, "Wally" Jackson, the well-known Wellington representative Soccer player, died in Australia a few years,ago. ..The. surviving members of her.-family, are, Mrs. Bobert Smith, Mrs. C.
