FARMERS' RALLY.
The farmers of the Makara-Hnlt Valley sub-provincial district of the New Zealand Farmers' Union are to-morrow holding aj farmers' rally at the Wallaceville Laboratory, the grounds of which have been kindly placed at their disposal by the Department of Agriculture. It is intended that the outing shall not only be of a social character, but also of educative interest to the farmers, arrangements having been made for officers from the Department of Agriculture to give a number of short addresses on various topics of fanning interest. The Minister of Agriculture, the Hon. C. E. Macmillan, M.P., has signified his intention to be present, also the Hon. A. D. McLcod .'Mid Messrs. W. J. Poison, M.P., W. 11. Field, M.P.. nnrl K.
