SOUTHLAND FINALS
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) . INVERCARGILL, 28th March. The final of the amateur golf championship of Southland was played over 36 holes on the Otatara links to-day, in beautiful weather. A. Thorn (Queen's Park, Invercargill), who was runner-up last year, beat G. C. G. Davey (St. Clair), 9 and 7. ' ' The junior championship was won by G. B. Meredith, who beat W. Mangan (Tuatapere), 5 and 4.
