A Reykjavik message states that the ■ Trans-American Airlines Corporation has applied to the Government for permission to establish a modern airport and radio station in Iceland ia connection with a project to establish a daily air. mail service from London to Detroit, covering the distance in. 48 hours, or 72 if the service is limited to day-time flying. -
