LINDSAY'S FAST. TIME

Lindsay and Stokes swam together~for a thousand yards, when Stokes retired, and Lindsay finished alone in 22min 59 2-ssec, or 37 2-ssec under his previous New Zealand record.
In the 50 yards ladies' championship of Canterbury, Shona Campbell won in 32sec, breaking the existing record by l-ssec.
