LONDON, 6th February. Friday's • closing prices for the following raw materials were as follows), those for 29th January being given in parentheses: Cotton.—Liverpool quotation, American middling, March' delivery, 5.23 d alb (5.16 d).
Rubber.—Para, 3 7-8 d alb (4 l-8d); plantation smoked ribbed sheets, 2 7-8 d a lb (2 15-16 d). Jute.—February-March, shipment, £18 15s a ton (£l9). Hemp.—January-February shipment, New Zealand, nominal, £19 15s a ton. • Copra.—March-April shipment, South Sea, £15 7s 6d a ton (£l4 15s); plantation, Rabaul, £15 10s (£ls). Linseed Oil.—£ls 10s a-ton (£ls). Turpentine.—sls a cwt. Dsmiridium.—Unchanged (Tasmanian, £f6 to £18 an ounce).
