(Received 30th January, 11 a.m.) ■ BTJGBY, 29th June. Beports from Geneva state that in view of the situation in Shanghai the meeting of tho Leaguo Council fixed for this morning was postponed '■ until thi9 afternoon, enabling private negotiations to proceed.
The chief Chinese delegate, Dr. Yen, acting on instructions from his Government .this morning, notified the Secretary-General of 'tho Leaguo that oiving to the situation in Shanghai, his Government asks that the League enforce Articles 10 and 15 of the Covenant, reserving the right 'as the situation develops to invoke'other articles.
