STEAMERS COLLIDE
MISHAP AT CANTON

HONG KONG, 13th January.
The Chinese steamer Sun Wah collidod with the British steamer Kin Shan early in the morning on the Canton River. The greatest excitement prevailed among the passengers, including a party of Australian university students on the Kin Shan. The latter was not seriously damaged, but the Sun Wah suffered badly. Her passengers wore transferred to the Kin Shan, which later reached Canton.
