The marriage of" Miss Patricia Eichartfs, of Sydney, aged nineteen, to the Earl of Jersey, aged twenty : one, took place at St. Margaret's, Westminster. , ... . . ■ , ■ ' ■ The Earl is the grandson of the late Lord Jersey who was at one . time Governor of New South Wales. The wedding was one of the'social events of the London winter season and the most youthful society wedding London has seen for many years..There were ten bridesmaids; ■'.■'■ One bridesmaid, Miss Brokaw, a member of a New York millionaire family, came specially to London to attend the ceremony. She was, like several others, a schoolfellow of the bride in Paris: Tho guests included Lords Uichard Nevill and Loughborough, the Countess of SeaScld, Lady Evelyn Beauchanip, and Mr. H. Hordern. ' Some' of the women spectators climbed the railings to secure a better view, but mounted police kept the crowds in check. The church was decorated with lilac, and Bermuda lilies; also Hies of.the valley specially grown in the bVidegrc'oni '» conservatories. Nine-foot Cinque Cento vases, filled witti scarlet poinsettia, stood on each side of thealtar.- •
The bride wore a diadeni enlaced with pearls, enhancing her , beauty, which is traditional with, Jersey brides. Mrs. Kenneth; Richards, was hostess at the reception. , .
