SUBURBS CLUB

The Suburbs Defence Rifle Club completed its second series on Saturday over ranges of SCO and 900 yards. A choppy "fish-tail" wind made shooting difficult, and several misses were recorded. In

■ spite of this, several excellent scores were made at 800 yards. H. R. Hunt, with a fine score of 48, took first place, aud he was closely followed by H. T. Peat with 17, Deputy-Eresideut Goodall, 4(5, K. Pringle, 45, and President McLean., 44. At 900 yards the scoring dropped considerably, only two riflemen gaining over 40 points. H. R. Hunt again led with a good total of 44, Deputy-President Goodall being next with 41, while Deputy-President W. G. Fellingham and AY. Hutchcson each scored 40.-.: The result of the second series was as follows:—Deputy-Pres.dent W. G. Fellingham, 289 points, 1; 11. R. Hunt, 2SB points, 2; Deputy-President Goodall, 284 points, a; H.
