EASTBOURNE'S WATER
A START TO-MORROW
Arrangements have been made for the Eastbourne water supply works to commence immediately, and the Mayor of Eastbourne (Mr. S. F. Fisher) will turn the first sod at 9.30 a.m. to-morr-ow, at a spot in the vicinity of Rona Bay "Wharf, when a statement of the details of the scheme will be made. A meeting to-night will finalise some of the matters connected with the scheme, which is one that will fully comply with the requirements of tho Health Department, and has been ■ approved by the Government. It is understood that tho question of access through the Hutt County lias also been decided. A meeting of ratepayers will bo called by the Mayor of Eastbourne next week, .when the annual cost and other details will be announced.
