Mr. Noble Kerby, Independent Labbur candidate for Melbourne Ports, was •Treated on. twenty-four warrants of commitment. These were for tinpaid fines for breaches of the Motor-car Act. Kerby was taken to gaol to begin his teria of four months' imprisonment. His ; friendsare continuing the campaign for him. ••■•.-■
