WHAT'S IN A NAME ?
Last year Hunting Cry was not nominated for the Oete Handicap, the sprint on the first day at Woodville, but he had been entered for the Railway Handicap, the second day's sprint, and, duly produced, he won very decisively under 9.13. After that he went on.to score his second successive victory in the A.R.C. Railway.
Ti.iS year 'Hunting Cry again is not racing on the first..day at Wbodville tomorrow. He was nominated for the Oete Handicap and weighted at 9.13, but dropped out at the acceptance. If he is to go on to.1 Ellerslie; as reports from the Bay state he will, then he can be expected to be saddled up again for the Railway Handicap at Woodville on Thursday, and, weighted as he was for tomorrow's sprint, he should go near repeating last year's success. Perhaps his connections have noticed that the sprint at Woodville oil the second day and the big Ellerslie Sprint have identical names!
