OTAGO FRUITGROWERS

DUNEDIN, 7th December.
Tt was stated at a meeting of the Chamber of: Commerce to-night that I lie. recent heavy frost in the Roxburgh and littriek'fruitgrowing districts, in Central Otago, would involve the country in a loss of £100,000, and Miul growers in tho districts affected would lose £50,000 or £00,000.
It was decided to support the growers in their efforts to obtain. Government assistance.
