TO GET ON THE ROLL
By advertisement in to-day's issue, the Labour Party points out that owing to the withholding of definite information about the date of the General Election, qualified persons not already enrolled, have only until to-morrow evening, at G o'clock, to get their names placed on the^roll of electors. The application forms must be in the hands of the Registrar of Electors by that hour. Postal votes can be applied for, and can be issued immediately after the issuel of the writs right up to polling day, so as to enable electors who are ill" or infirm or who are unable, through causes specified by law to record their votes on polling day, to do so by post. Persons qualified to enrol, who have not already done so, are informed '. that they can be enrolled for, all Wellington electorates at Mr. Scmplc's committee room, corner of Onepu road and Coutts street, Kilbirnie; Mr. M'Keen's committee roomj Eiddiford street, opposite Green street; the Trades.Hall, 12G, Vivian, street; Mr. Nash's committee rooms, Jacksoa street, Petone, and Main street, Lower Hutt; and, of course, at the office of the Registrar of Electors, .Bowen Bldgs.j opposite the Wellington War Memorial.
