HAVOC AT THE SEASIDE LONDON, 11th. November. Extensive havoc, on the sonth coastj has been'caused by tie worst Channel gale for a quarter of a century. The! storm was still raging early this monn ing.. No fewer than 300 beach tents wersj wrecked at Bournemouth, and bunga* lows were badly -damaged. Waves broke over. the tops of tha houses at Sandgate, near Folkestone* the side streets being awash. Boats were rowed through the street^ of Portsmouth, Cowes,' and Worthing.
