CELEBRATION IN BRITAIN TOO COLD FOR KING United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. (Received 12th November, 11 a.m.) LONDON, 11th November. Though there was genial sunshine, a cold wind swept Whitehall and the King did not risk attending. The Prince of Wales deputised, wreathing and saluting the Cenotaph, where exceedingly dense crowds asseni-j bled. Sir Granville Ryrie and Sir Thomas Wilford wreathed the Cenotaph on behalf of their Governments and people. Other observances included womenfolk throughout the country placing poppies on the Australian and New Zealanders' war graves.
