BOXING
The demand for tickets for the DelaneyTrowern fight proves the great amount of public interest -which has been arousedby this coming event. Keports from Miramar are glowing and enthusiastic, Donoghue (who is training Trowern) stating that the gymnasium is not big enough to hold the crowd that gathers to witness the work of New Zealand's popular fighter. Bobby Delaney also is reported by Sammy Chapman (his trainer) to be in fine trim, therefore the public can expect an excellent contest. The supporting preliminaries will be: T. Arbuthnot v. W. Withey; D. Sjoberg v. M. Strickland; E. Jacobs v. L. Strickland; H. White v. J. M'Donald- B. Wilson v. ■J. Picchi. The contest will be held at the Stadium on Monday.
