An Auckland correspondent write., asking i'or tlic number of points scored by M. h'. Niekolls and A. ii. Cooke when playing lor New Zealand against overseas teams. Nicholls's tally id 26\t points, and this stands second to W. J. Wallace's record of 307 points. Cooke has scored 103 points, a total exceeded only by Wallace, Nicholls, J. Hunter, T. W. Lynch, J. Steel, and B. Roberts. The occasions on which Nicholls and Cooke made their scores for New Zealand were: — Nieholls: v. South Africa, i. New Zealand, 1921, 6 points; in Australia, 1922, 34; in Australia, 1024, 12; in England, Wales, Ireland, France, 1924-25, 103; in Canada, 1923, (5; v.
