STOREKEEPER'S DEATH
TRAPPED IN A FIRE
(L!y Telegraph.— I'ross Association.) DAEGAVILLE, -!oth October. Henry "William Nichols, 47 years of age, storekeeper, of Ka.ihu Settlement, twenty miles north of Dnrgavillc, was buiMicd to death in a lire- ■ vliicli destroyed his store and an adjoinin™ shop late last night. The indications uro that the deceased was trapped in endeavouring to recover some effects. A verdict of accidental death was returned at an inquest. Tho deceased is survived by a widow and five children.
