APOLOGY TO BRITAIN
REDUCTION LIKELY SOON

LONDON, 18th October.
"I am not supposed to touch politics, but I will risk it," said General Ryrie, opening a now road at Hull. "Australia put on tariffs. I know it was hard on British manufacturers, but it was in defence of our trade. Now we arc hoping soon to reduce those tariffs."
