THREE MYSTERIES
POLICE BAFFLED
LONDON, sth October. There have been three murder mysteries in England in' two days. A young woman, believed to bo the ■wife of a naval stoker, was found strangled in an empty shop in Soho. The police believe that she lived a .Tekyll and Hyde existence, alternating her visits to the London underworld with sojourns at home at Chatham. A similar crime occurred at Manchester, Annie Kiley, aged tweniyIhrer, being foiuad strangled iti an hotel.
The third mystery is that oJ: Mrs. Jacklin, wife of a farmer, who wiis shot dead in bed. Her husband was also wounded.
Tho police are searching for a miMiaj; jonth.
