An anti-cyclone has been moving slowly over the Dominion, and, consequently, Sne and warm weather was experienced generally during the week-end. Occasional showers, however, have fallen In South Westland.and in the far south, associated with the passage of slight low pressure waves to the southwards. During Saturday fresh northerlies and westerlies ruled, but by Sunday the winds had become mostly light to moderate, and more variable in direction.
