At the Mount Cook Police Court roday, before Mr. W. 11. Jonps, J.P., Hugh Mat.heson Stewart, a labourer, aged 46, was fined £2, in default seven days' imprisonment, for his third offence of drunkenness. One first offender was convicted and discharged.
