WEDDING

The wedding was celebrated recently at St. Andrew's Church, The Terrace, of Dorothy Campbell Curtis, only daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. M. W. Muir, Te Awamutu/and William; eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. T. Cooper, Auckland. The Bey. B. J. Howie officiated. The bride, who was escorted by her uncle, Mr. M'Kechnie, wore a model frock of beige lace and mariette, and a large picture hat with floral bandeau. She carried a bouquet of autumn-tinted flowers. Mrs. J. M'Keehnie was matron of honour, wearing a floral georgette frock and a black hat, and carrying a bouquet of spring flowers. Two nieces of the bride, Margaret M'Kechnie and Shirley Kaeside, wore dainty frocks of pink and blue respectively, with floral bandeaux on their hair. They carried posies of rosebuds and heather. Mr. B. Pulsford was best man. A reception was held at Kirkcaldie and Stains' tea rooms. Mrs. M'Kechnie (the bride's aunt) wore a black lace frock and a black hat with touches of white. Mrs. Peers (aunt of the bridegroom) wore a brown crepe de chine ensemble and a black hat with plumes.
