JOHNSONVILLE SALE

: Messrs. Wright, ; Stephenson. and Co.,Ltd., and Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on Johnsonville sale held, op 25th August as follows:—To the usual; attendance'of. buyers we submitted an average yarding of cattle and sheep. Prices for cattle were on'- a ■ par : with last .week's rates. All classes of. sheep, with the exception of lambs,, suffered a decline. There was a. fair demand for: wethers at reduc-ed-limits, prices being down Is to Is 6d per head, while ewes were easier to the extent/of 2s to 2s 6d.per head. Lambs met. with a good demand at late rates.'
